Kathy is a regular at tournaments, having attended her first NABC in Toronto in 2017 when she was still looking for gold points. From there, she has had many ‘bridge moments’, the two most humbling being nominated to the National Goodwill Committee in 2023 and a second-place finish in the Whitehead Women’s pairs in Phoenix in 2022.

In 2023, Kathy was elected to the ACBL Advisory Council (formerly Board of Governors). She is the District 7 Advertising and Publicity Chair, in addition to being the Grass Roots chair. In 2020 she became the Unit 160 Secretary. A Club Manager since 2018, she has often mentored others who have taken on that role in their local clubs.

Having moved around a lot, she has always been involved in some volunteer capacity in youth sports and other organizations. She now brings this commitment to serve to the Charity Foundation.
